Why Multimedia?
So why all the fuss? What makes multimedia so popular in the modern
world and why exactly do we want to transmit it over our networks? The
answer stems from the wide range of multimedia. The very word implies
multiple ways of conveying information and since the world today is
all about information, we can see how studying new methods to acomplish
this might prove useful.
The key of multimedia is that having multiple methods of conveyance
targets a typical human trait that the more ways in which you look at
something the clearer our understanding of it becomes. Also multimedia
is much more exciting and interesting to humans as it stimulates multiple
senses making it a key tool in areas from entertainment to education.
